Grandpa came in town today for a couple of nights. We decided to take Jolie to see the Krewe of Barkus (Mardi Gras dog) parade. She loved all the excitement & the dogs.

Our little bookworm

Jolie LOVES "reading" books! She will sit in her room for almost an hour just pulling her books off the shelf & flipping through them. Every now and then she hands me one to read to her, but most of the time she is content to read to herself. I try to put her in my lap, but she quickly squirms out of the chair back to the floor to look at her books all by herself. (She also likes to be naked so I let her play in her diaper the other day - sorry she isn't wearing any cute clothes in these pictures.)

Valentine's Day Candy

FYI: She was supervised when walking with her lollipop.

Jolie missed the Valentine's Day party at Mother's Day Out because she only goes on Wednesdays. They saved all of her Valentines & candy for her & she brought it home yesterday. She enjoyed her lollipop this afternoon.

One Cool Mama

Jolie likes sporting her fun, pink sunglasses. She has been carrying them around a lot lately & hands them to me or Todd to put them on for her. She walked around for a while with them on today. Also, don't miss her fun new hairstyle. Mommy pulled back her hair so it wouldn't get in her eyes. She looks like such a big girl now that her hair is getting so long!

Jolie loves to carry the mail that goes with her Laugh 'n Learn Home her Great-Grandma Montgomery gave her for Christmas. Todd & I find her letters all over the house! One of our students let her get up on the pool table at the BCM last week so now when we walk in she points in the direction of the pool table. She thinks she belongs on the table. She likes to walk around & put the balls in the holes.
