Christmas Eve

Todd put Jolie's tights on his head when he was putting her PJs on her & she immediately said, "you can be Joseph." She then put her sheep on her head & declared that she was Mary. Baby Jesus was a doll. Nothing like a homemade nativity :)

Sweet Sarah & Silly Jolie

Here are a couple of pictures I took of Sarah the Sunday before Christmas. She is such a cutie!Jolie thought it would be fun to get in Sarah's Moses basket. She was so cozy :)

We celebrated Christmas with some friends tonight at our house. We served some yummy chili & had a bonfire. The kids roasted marshmallows & made smores. We had a great time & feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends.

Lazy Sunday

Jolie had a birthday party for Jesus in her Sunday school class today & obviously had Jesus on the brain this afternoon. She brought "Jesus" into the living room & was laying him in the "manger." Jesus looks a lot like Dora's baby sister. We found it humorous that she chose this doll to represent Jesus. Here are a few pictures of Jolie & her Savior:Life is never boring for Sarah. Jolie provides a constant source of entertainment for her. I took a picture of her swinging as she watched Jolie play. She's such a sweet baby!

Sarah at 3 months

Sorry it's taken me a few days to post these. I can hardly believe Sarah has already been around 3 months! It has passed so quickly. She is growing like a weed & her personality is slowly shining through. At 3 months she can "coo" like crazy & even rolls over from her back to her belly! Cheering her on as she reaches new milestones is one of our favorite things! Isn't she beautiful?

Overwhelmed

Jolie has been so sweet to Sarah. We really could not have asked for her have been any better with her. She wanted Sarah to "play" with her this morning so I put Sarah on a blanket in the playroom. When I returned to check on things I found that Jolie had overwhelmed Sarah with baby toys. Such a sweet big sister!

Yummy!

Jolie decided it was time to eat her gingerbread house yesterday. This picture was too cute not to share. Yummy!

Jolie's 3rd Birthday

We had a wonderful time celebrating Jolie's 3rd birthday yesterday. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends to help us celebrate! We embraced the Christmas theme for a second year in a row by making gingerbread houses. I think all the kiddos really enjoyed decorating their houses. Jolie ate way more candy than she put on her house! This little video will give you a glimpse of the fun we had...

BCM Bonfire & a Movie

Tonight was the second annual "Bonfire & A Movie" at our house. The girls & I took a picture at the beginning. Sarah & I didn't stay outside very long, but she sure did look cute all bundled up!

Fast Friends

Our friends Clint & Lea had a baby girl just 4 weeks after Sarah was born. Elli & Sarah haven't gotten to hang out in the nursery at church yet, but they had a great time hanging out indoors during the bonfire. Elli's daddy is the college minister at our church and a great partner in ministry. Aren't they so cute?

Happy Birthday, Jolie!

We had a small family birthday gathering for Jolie while we were home for Thanksgiving. All of her grandparents were there along with an aunt & uncle. She got lots of fun toys! She had been begging me for the "Lucky Ducks" game the past few weeks so that is what we gave her. As you can see from these pictures it was a hit!

Cinderella

We went to Jolie's friend Anna's birthday party today. It was a royal tea party & the guest of honor was Cinderella! When she arrived Jolie starting waving & telling her hi. When she finally got to talk to her she told her, "you are the best princess in the whole wide world!" The birthday girl couldn't keep her eyes off of her as you can see from the picture. On the way home Jolie informed me that Cinderella was going home to her castle.

Our big baby

I walked into the kitchen this afternoon & found Jolie very comfortable in Sarah's carseat. Silly girl!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Jolie is VERY aware that Christmas is on its way! She tells me all the time that she is " 'bery' ready for Christmas." I decided it would be fun for us to decorate our wrapping paper together. She had a great time painting & I'm sure will love showing off her artwork on Christmas morning.

Playing

Jolie likes to "play" with baby sister.

2 Months tomorrow

I took Sarah outside today for our monthly photo shoot. She's grown so much in the last month. I like the second one because it shows off her healthy belly :) I thought she would hate the grass, but she actually was quite content laying there. She has started to smile & even coos!

Bathing Beauties

I took this picture of the girls after bath time a few nights ago. It's a little blurry, but too sweet not to share. Jolie loves her little sister!

First Family Photo

They took pictures at the Fall Fest on Wednesday night & we got ours this morning at church. We were impressed that we were all looking at the camera (except Sarah).

Happy Halloween!

Jolie dressed up for Halloween for the first time this year. She was a cute ULM cheerleader! We went to the Fall Festival at our church tonight to collect some candy & have some fun. She was a big fan of the bear as you'll see below. Also, we didn't buy anything to put candy in so Todd thought it would be funny for her to carry her Easter basket, but we accidentally forget it in the car.

The Hawks

Sarah & Chad came to visit last weekend, but I neglected to take pictures with my camera so I'm sharing the ones Sarah sent me today. My girls are big fans of their Aunt Sarah & Uncle Chad. We wish we could see them more often!
