Bye, Bye Beard

Todd shaved his "Christmas" beard last week. Believe it or not, I'm always a little sad to see it go. We took a couple of pictures before he shaved. Here is Jolie with her sweet daddy:

Exploring new things

Sarah is just now big enough to sit in her ExerSaucer. She explores a little more each time she plays. Jolie loves to help out :)

Pretty blue dress

Sarah wore a pretty blue dress to church on Sunday & I wanted to show it off. In the first picture she was sitting in her Bumbo chair & knocked her head on the wall :) She was a little mad...

Strong Sarah

Sarah has really been getting stronger over the past month. Her neck strength is really increasing & she wants to sit up so bad! She is constantly using her abdominal muscles & trying to sit up. She'll be crawling before we know it! Here she is showing off her neck strength:

Sarah at 4 months

Sarah continues to amaze us with her sweetness. Here she is at 4 months:

she was a squirmy worm so it was impossible to get a picture of her whole body while she wasn't in motion. the second one is blurry b/c she was moving, but it is still so cute.

Our Little Artist

Jolie got some paints for Christmas & really loves them! She is slowly, but surely learning to clean her brush in between colors. She has created some beautiful masterpieces :)

Playing together

Sarah got a Baby Einstein Activity Gym for Christmas & Jolie was helping her discover all the fun things that are on it. Their Aunt Sarah caught these sweet shots.

Annual PJ picture

One of my favorite traditions at Gran's house is our matching Christmas PJs. We take a picture all together every year. Jolie & Sarah match too. Pictures of Christmas with my family are coming soon!

Santa came to town

Jolie got tons of fun stuff for Christmas, but her favorite new toy is the Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket that Santa brought her! We are pretty sure the Little Einsteins are going to become good friends with Jolie's Fisher Price Little People :)

Christmas Eve

Todd put Jolie's tights on his head when he was putting her PJs on her & she immediately said, "you can be Joseph." She then put her sheep on her head & declared that she was Mary. Baby Jesus was a doll. Nothing like a homemade nativity :)

More Christmas fun

We celebrated Christmas with some friends tonight at our house. We served some yummy chili & had a bonfire. The kids roasted marshmallows & made smores. We had a great time & feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends.

Lazy Sunday

Jolie had a birthday party for Jesus in her Sunday school class today & obviously had Jesus on the brain this afternoon. She brought "Jesus" into the living room & was laying him in the "manger." Jesus looks a lot like Dora's baby sister. We found it humorous that she chose this doll to represent Jesus. Here are a few pictures of Jolie & her Savior:Life is never boring for Sarah. Jolie provides a constant source of entertainment for her. I took a picture of her swinging as she watched Jolie play. She's such a sweet baby!

Sarah at 3 months

Sorry it's taken me a few days to post these. I can hardly believe Sarah has already been around 3 months! It has passed so quickly. She is growing like a weed & her personality is slowly shining through. At 3 months she can "coo" like crazy & even rolls over from her back to her belly! Cheering her on as she reaches new milestones is one of our favorite things! Isn't she beautiful?

Overwhelmed

Jolie has been so sweet to Sarah. We really could not have asked for her have been any better with her. She wanted Sarah to "play" with her this morning so I put Sarah on a blanket in the playroom. When I returned to check on things I found that Jolie had overwhelmed Sarah with baby toys. Such a sweet big sister!

Yummy!

Jolie decided it was time to eat her gingerbread house yesterday. This picture was too cute not to share. Yummy!

Jolie's 3rd Birthday

We had a wonderful time celebrating Jolie's 3rd birthday yesterday. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends to help us celebrate! We embraced the Christmas theme for a second year in a row by making gingerbread houses. I think all the kiddos really enjoyed decorating their houses. Jolie ate way more candy than she put on her house! This little video will give you a glimpse of the fun we had...

BCM Bonfire & a Movie

Tonight was the second annual "Bonfire & A Movie" at our house. The girls & I took a picture at the beginning. Sarah & I didn't stay outside very long, but she sure did look cute all bundled up!

Fast Friends

Our friends Clint & Lea had a baby girl just 4 weeks after Sarah was born. Elli & Sarah haven't gotten to hang out in the nursery at church yet, but they had a great time hanging out indoors during the bonfire. Elli's daddy is the college minister at our church and a great partner in ministry. Aren't they so cute?
