Our Little Tailgater

Tonight was the first home football game. We took Jolie to the BCM tailgate. She loved getting to run around & nearly wore both of us out! We decided to skip out on the game because her bedtime was rapidly approaching. Doesn't she look good in her maroon & gold?

Bye, Bye, Nonna

Mom (AKA: Nonna) came & spent the week with us. She kept Jolie company while I went & enjoyed a few of the BCM's back-to-school events. We were so glad she came. Jolie was not happy about her leaving today! Thanks for coming, Nonna!

Fun times at the BCM

Today was our big event to welcome freshmen to campus & our ministry. We had over 100 freshmen - yea! Todd worked all day, but Jolie & I were only around for a little while. She is warming up to her new college friends. She is quite a ham!

Running Down The Driveway

Jolie LOVES to run down our new, long driveway. She went with me to get the paper this morning & I took some pictures of her on the way.

We just got our high speed internet hooked up today - yea! These pictures were taken in Lake Charles a few days before we moved. Jolie loves to color, but is only allowed to under supervision!

Jolie & I were bouncing on her Rody last night & some friends took this picture. Isn't she so cute? We've had so much fun together this week, but we are ready to see her daddy tomorrow.

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted new pics. Our computer was in the shop & fortunately we have it back with our hard drive in working condition. I turned on a video for her viewing pleasure & when I went to check on her this is how I found her. She was quite relaxed! I'll try to get some new video footage of her soon.

Jolie's New Do

Miss Emily came over this afternoon to give Jolie another haircut. After the haircut we went outside & played with bubbles. We love Miss Emily & wish we could take her to Monroe with us - and not just for the free haircuts!

Funny Hat

Jolie usually will not wear a hat, however, she found this one the other day and puts it on every time she finds it. She even wore it to church this morning - it definitely didn't match.

I found Jolie propped up on the ottoman watching TV this morning. She can climb up there all by herself. She is such a big girl!

Our little mess maker

Jolie has gotten really good at making a mess. She enjoys emptying out any container that contains lots of toys & she leaves a trail of stuff wherever she goes. Her newest talent is opening doors all by herself. She has brought me items from the trash that used to be safely tucked away in the pantry. Nothing is safe anymore!

Georgia Friends

Tuesday we got to hang out with Brooks, Bethany, & Anna Brooke Keisler. Brooks & Bethany were BSUers at Ga Southern the year we served there. They recently relocated to Birmingham & had their first child. We were so excited to get to see old friends & meet sweet Anna Brooke!

The Park

Monday was our first full day in Birmingham & Aunt Sarah wanted to take Jolie to the park that is near her apartment. Jolie loved it! They had equipment for little kids & Jolie enjoyed climbing through the tunnel & going down the slide. She made a friend named Kate (who is 21 months old). She waved hi to her, blew her kisses & then leaned over and kissed her right on the mouth. She is so friendly & so much fun!

Jolie's 1st Haircut

Miss Emily came over today & gave Jolie her 1st haircut. She trimmed the back & gave her bangs! The finished product is precious & this last picture doesn't really do it justice. I'll try to catch a better picture of her fun bangs tomorrow. Miss Emily, thanks for a great haircut!
