We went to Jolie's friend Anna's birthday party this morning. It was a tea party for 2 year olds! All the little girls had fun playing together! They were all precious dressed in their Sunday dresses. Jolie wore her new Christmas dress for the first time & looked so cute. We are looking forward to Jolie's party next week.

Welcome to Jolie's Kitchen

Last night I put together Jolie's kitchen set that she received from her Gran & Paw Paw for her birthday. She got to play with it for the first time this morning! It was a big hit! She got several phone calls & cooked me a hot dog. Thanks for such a fun gift!

Jolie's 1st Shiner

Jolie fell & bumped her eye while we were out of town for Thanksgiving. It looks much worse than it is. She hasn't complained at all. She's a tough girl!

Little Momma

Jolie got to play with her new shopping cart her Gran & PawPaw sent to her today. She was pretending to be a little momma pushing her baby around in her cart & wearing her sunglasses like her real momma :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Jolie sported her Santa dress from last year this Sunday. She was definitely the cutest kid in the nursery. We are excited she is getting to wear this dress two years in a row!

A Real Country Girl

Thanks to my very generous aunt & uncle we are now the proud owners of our very own John Deere. It is temporarily parked in the carport & Jolie has enjoyed climbing up in the seat & "driving" all by herself. Todd can't wait to take her on a real ride :)

Dancing The Night Away

We hosted the BCM's annual Cochon Du Lait (minus the pig) at our house last night. We had a dance instructor/square dance caller that led the students in dancing for several hours. Jolie was dying to get in on some of the action. Here are a couple of pictures I took before we removed her from the dance floor for her own safety. She was right up in the middle of everyone. I like the top one of her in mid clap. For some reason Blogger keeps rotating the last picture, but I thought it was too cute not to share.

Good times with good friends

We went to see our good friends the Nidas this weekend. It was David's 3rd birthday party & we've been dying to meet their new baby John who was born in July. It was the first time that David & Jolie were both old enough to enjoy each other's company. They had a great time together & these pictures capture a few of the fun moments we had in the last 24 hours!

Grandpa & Nonna brought Jolie these fun Moose slippers from Alaska. She LOVES them. I thought I was going to have to let her wear them out of the house today!

Jolie had the opportunity to hang out with her great uncles this past weekend. It was the first time Uncle Richard had met her. Eventhough the circumstances were no fun, it was very nice to be with family. We are counting down until we see them again at Christmas!

Rainy Day Fun!

This morning I set up the play cottage Jolie got last Christmas. It is supposed to rain all day so I thought it'd been something new to do. She can't walk by without walking in her "house." Thanks to Nonna & Grandpa for such a fun present!

We entertained 35+ college students at our house last night. We had a great time & Jolie enjoyed having her college friends in her home. I need a few days to recover!

Just Splashing Around

Jolie had a good time splashing in this puddle this afternoon! We love the cool weather. We almost needed a jacket. Maybe Fall will stick around this time.

Playing Outside

Jolie & I skipped church this morning because Todd had to speak at a church out of town. We played outside for a long time where she collected leaves & played in the dirt. So much for a morning bath :) Special thanks to Nonna & Great Grandma & Grandpa Montgomery for taking good care of Jolie last week!

"Night, Night"

Jolie & Todd are pretending to go "night, night" on the living room floor. She likes to lay her head on a pillow & pretend to go to sleep - she even closes her eyes. She is so sweet!

Jolie's 1st frenchbraids

I successfully frenchbraided Jolie's hair on Tuesday. I was quite pleased with the way it turned out. She was a pretty good client :)

Just splashin' around

Jolie & I went outside this afternoon after it rained. She enjoyed splashing around in the puddles around our front walkway.
